Allied Recognizes First Retiree

Tommy “Pops” Reeves retires from Allied Power Group on June 17, 2011

Prior to joining Allied Power Group, Tommy “Pops” Reeves had a varied background that included jobs such as driving trucks and building fences. He brought a strong work ethic and a winning personality to Allied.

“Pops” joined Allied in the summer of 2006 as a delivery driver, and in the summer of 2011 he will become their first retiree. “My favorite part of working at Allied is definitely the people; everyone is very laid back, and I have a great boss,” said Reeves.

“I’ll miss all the people at APG the most once I’m retired, but I am looking forward to getting some more fishing in!”

Always ready with a fishing story, “Pops” has a current personal best of a 52-pound channel catfish caught in Lake Conroe, and looks forward to trying to beat that record.

For those coworkers he’s leaving behind? A few words of advice. “Stay at APG and be appreciative for what you have; this is a one of a kind company.”
